Footstool Colour Ministries, founded by Dr Anastasia Bruce, is a merger of two mandates- Footstool Revival and Colour the World. It's a message, mandate and ministry inspired from the Holy Scriptures and personal walk with the Lord Jesus.
A footstool is a small piece of furniture or a low stool for resting the feet on when sitting. In the Bible, God’s throne is revealed as having a footstool connected to it. We get the idea that God desires to rest His tired feet on something comfortable when He is upon His throne. We, as God’s children, can be that footstool whenever we fall in love with the Lord again and again, worship at His feet and give the Lord our attention. In that process, we also receive power from Him to stand up on our feet and go wherever He leads, reaching out with His love and power in a hurting and dying world. Amazingly, when we become God’s footstool, He also empowers our feet, and gives us authority to overcome and trample all the power of the enemy, making them our footstool. We get inspired that really loving and devoting ourselves to the Lord liberates us into the truest freedom and transformation that enables us to serve others freely.

Being made free to serve, we understand that the Lord’s call for us His children is for us to join with Him to light the world.

What is lighting the world all about?
Matthew 5:13-14 MSG
“Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You’ve lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage. [14] “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand — shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.
Certainly, following Jesus gives us tha amazing opportunity to walk in His footsteps, and that’s how we get to know the dark places we are meant to light up through service. Every child of God is a unique light of God. As we intensify our devotion to the Lord through Word study, prayer and fellowship, we beam with light and love to colour our world for Jesus. We are inspired and know how to Colour by observing the words of Jesus in especially Matthew 5, 6 and 7.
